Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania & Your Kilimanjaro Briefing
Elevation: 1,400m
Arrive in Arusha, where you’ll be warmly greeted by our team. You’ll meet your lead guide for a comprehensive trek briefing and equipment check, ensuring you are fully prepared for the journey ahead.
Day 2: The Adventure Begins: Into the Rainforest
Ascending to: 2,700m
After a transfer to the Kilimanjaro National Park gate, your climb officially begins. You’ll trek through a lush, vibrant rainforest, alive with the sounds of birds and monkeys, to your first camp.
Days 3-6: The Ascent & Acclimatization
Ascending to: 3,500m – 4,700m
These crucial days are designed to help your body adapt to the altitude. You’ll journey through ever-changing landscapes—from heath and moorland to the starkly beautiful alpine desert—while your guides monitor your progress every step of the way.
Summit Night & Day: Uhuru Peak!

Under a blanket of stars, we begin the final, most rewarding push to the summit. Your Pishon guides will be right by your side, motivating you with every step. You will reach Uhuru Peak as the sun rises, casting a golden glow over the African plains below—a moment that will stay with you forever.
Final Days: Descent & Celebration
After summiting, you’ll descend back through the familiar zones, your spirit soaring. Your last night on the mountain is one of celebration with your crew before returning to Arusha for a well-deserved hot shower and a final celebratory dinner.
