This 6-day luxury safari provides a relaxed pace for a deeper exploration of Northern Tanzania’s highlights. With two full nights in the Serengeti at a premier lodge, you have ample time to track wildlife, in addition to visiting Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater. This itinerary is for the discerning traveler seeking the finest accommodations and an unhurried, in-depth safari experience.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), a representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha for your overnight stay. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart around 07:00hrs to start your safari, travelling to Tarangire National Park. You will do a full day game drive with packed picnic lunches. In the late afternoon, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire Area – Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, check out from the lodge and proceed towards the central Serengeti National Park. On the way there, enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at your luxury lodge in the Serengeti.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, enjoy another full day on a game drive with a picnic lunch or break the day with lunch at the lodge. An optional Balloon Safari is available this morning. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, check out with a picnic lunch and depart for another explorative tour of the Serengeti National Park. Lunch is taken at a picnic spot before a slow drive to the Ngorongoro Crater’s edge, where you can enjoy the wonderful view across the caldera as the sun sets.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater & Departure
After an early breakfast, descend into the crater for a game drive until lunch. In the afternoon, proceed towards Arusha to take your evening flight. An optional overnight in Arusha can be arranged.
