CLASSIC SAFARIS

The quintessential African safari experience across Tanzania's legendary national parks.

THE EXPERIENCE

Africa's greatest
wilderness.

A classic safari through Tanzania's Northern Circuit is the journey that dreams are made of. From the endless plains of the Serengeti to the dramatic Ngorongoro Crater, each park offers a unique window into Africa's wild heart.

These are not just game drives. They are encounters with nature at its most raw and beautiful. A lioness teaching her cubs to hunt, elephants moving like shadows through ancient baobab groves, and the sun setting over the savannah in colors that seem impossible. This is the Africa you came to see.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. This massive volcanic caldera hosts the densest population of predators in Africa, including lions, hyenas, and cheetahs, all within a self-contained ecosystem.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

Frequently asked
questions.

What is the best time for a classic safari?+

The dry season (June to October) offers the best wildlife viewing as animals gather around water sources. However, the green season (November to May) provides lush landscapes, fewer crowds, and excellent bird watching.

How many days do I need for a classic safari?+

We recommend 5 to 7 days for a comprehensive Northern Circuit safari covering Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. This gives you ample time to enjoy each park without feeling rushed.

Will I see the Big Five on a classic safari?+

The Northern Circuit offers excellent chances of seeing all of the Big Five. Lions and leopards are commonly sighted, elephants are abundant in Tarangire, buffalo roam throughout, and rhinos can be spotted in Ngorongoro Crater.

What type of vehicle is used for game drives?+

We use custom-built 4x4 safari vehicles with pop-up roofs for optimal game viewing. Each vehicle comes equipped with window seats for every passenger, charging ports, and a cooler for refreshments.

Are classic safaris suitable for families?+

Yes, many lodges and camps welcome children. We can arrange private vehicles for families, flexible schedules, and age-appropriate activities. Children aged 6 and above are generally recommended.

What should I pack for a classic safari?+

Neutral-colored clothing, a warm jacket for early morning drives, comfortable walking shoes, binoculars, a camera with zoom lens, sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and insect repellent.
