Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park through Ngorongoro Highlands

We will leave Arusha between 7:00-8:00am after breakfast. Our safari guide will ensure your comfort during the 5-hour drive to Serengeti National Park. At the Ngorongoro Conservation Area gate, you can access a free Wi-Fi and bathroom facilities.

We will pause for 15-20 minutes at the Ngorongoro Crater View Point to admire the incredible view and learn about its history and geology from our knowledgeable guide. For an additional fee, you can take a tour of the Olduvai Gorge Museum if you’re interested. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Serengeti at Nabi Hill Gate and have lunch at a picnic site. You can stretch your legs and enjoy the vast plains while using the restroom facilities. Later in the day, we will reach Central Serengeti for dinner and accommodation.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater Rim

We begin our day with an early sunrise safari, watching the African sun rise over the horizon. This is the perfect time to observe nocturnal predators such as lions completing their night hunts. In the Serengeti, millions of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes create an epic canvas during the “Great Migration,” while the Big Five animals roam the plains.

In the late morning we will return for breakfast at our camping grounds. Afterward, we will continue with game viewing as we head towards Nabi Hill Gate for lunch. We will check out of the Serengeti plains and continue our transit and game viewing to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for an overnight stay and dinner at the walls of the Ngorongoro crater.

We will reach the camping grounds early in the evening, where you will have a delicious warm dinner. You can also enjoy the beautiful sunset from the camping grounds and stay connected with a free Wi-Fi connection.

Weather: Ngorongoro Crater rim can be quite cool, with daytime temperatures around 15°C to 20°C (59°F to 68°F). It may get colder at night

Our adventure begins early as we descend into the crater, increasing our chances of encountering the last of the big 5 animals. We will travel down to the crater floor, where, with some luck, we may catch a glimpse of rare species like the black rhino.

The Ngorongoro Crater is more like a natural zoo, with 600-650-meter-high walls and the highest concentration of wild animals per square kilometer. It is an ideal place to spot big predators like lions, hyenas, and leopards, as well as permanent residents such as zebras and wildebeest.

After an exciting game drive, we will have a picnic lunch near a hippo pool, where you can observe these amazing creatures up close. The lovely birds singing nearby will provide a soothing background as you enjoy your meal.

We will continue with the game drive, leaving the Ngorongoro crater and heading to Arusha. You have the option to spend the night in Arusha or go straight to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
